There's a strength training method KempQ made popular, the pump.

For it to work, the Blast Furnace has to be setup in a specific way.

Griefers found out however, that if they fix the Cogs/Drive Belt, they can prevent the hundreds of people trying to get 11k exp/h from getting exp and if players afk long enough, they will get kicked from the Blast Furnace for 30 minutes.

So, knowing this is a 1100 hour grind, they will hop back and forth all worlds just to repair the cogs in order to grief players while setting specific worlds they only share with a cc they charge people to be on, so they're griefing to create a demand, and they address themselves as the pump mafia.

This player ^{posting in comments since gyazo gets removed} , for example, has nearly 80k crafting exp just from receiving 50 exp everytime he crashes, that's more than 1500 worlds he has crashed, on a single account, hopping back and forth, everyday - remember, there are dozens of accounts.

A simple, 5 minute fix would be making it so fixing the cog doesn't stop the pump from giving strength exp , you still have to put coke and what not so it's not fully afk, and it's a 1000+ hour grind, would be nice to not get extorted all the way through.

This has been going on for years, content creators have made videos but nothing has changed, hopefully this post gets some traction and something happens, these people think they're untouchable and their toxicity and ego displays that, many get muted due to what they say, but never banned for the disruptive behaviour they display every single day, despite the hundreds of reports.

TL;DR: Guy spends his days hopping worlds to grief players in order to create demand for a service he then provides, thinks he is part of a "pump mafia" - people have been harassing this way for years and it could be fixed in 5 minutes with enough attention.
