    If Jagex keeps condoning the big goldfarming problem at CoX, it soon will be dead content for the casual player. Uniques are at an all time low. Vorkath will soon be better gp/h than an end game raid. Please don't let goldfarmers ruin this even more. Take proper action.

    The same goes for TOB. Goldfarmers are dominating that place too. Accounts with thousands of KC made to goldfarm those pieces of content in order to sell the gold are everywhere. ToB and CoX combined now have 8 goldfarmers with 10.000 kc in either of them. It is so bizarre.

    Jagex, show us some concrete stats or remove the chat filter.

    Here is a list of reasons why the filter should be removed:

    1. It doesn't even work, you can double the last letter of any word to bypass it
    2. It detracts regular conversations that aren't in English (and in English too), sometimes censoring up to a third of the words
    3. I don't believe for a single second that it had a positive effect on toxic players or their victims, all it does is piss off people and potentially make them more abrasive (it does for me)
    4. It relies on flawed logic: attacking words themselves removes context, empowering bad actors (people bait insults from others for the sole purpose of reporting them, when the conversation )
    5. I don't like it
    6. Nobody else likes it either
    7. It's a waste of resources to maintain
    8. OSRS is a mature game, where the vast, VAST majority of players are adults
    9. You can already ignore, report and even hide people using both default and Runelite settings
    10. Only a small minority wanted one in the first place
    11. The filter was added as a knee-jerk reaction by Jagex following a barrage of dishonest/misleading Twitter and Reddit posts, without consulting the community
    12. Initial reactions to adding the filter were negative, a sentiment that hasn't gone away

    Note that they're all pretty biased, but still (IMO) show pretty clearly that the cons outweigh the pros by an undeniable margin.

    Question

    Hello, tryied with twitter or appealing the ban in game didn't work so I hope i get answers here for my falsely banned account on may 7 2021.

    My account, M203Launcher, yes it's a gun, I'm a Police officer and interested in different type of guns, is banned for goldfarming, which is quite funny I never did bossing outside of slayer tasks. My account, cmb 123, is mostly played on mobile, 95% of the time,have about ~700-800 kc vorky, ~500 cerberus, ~900 sire, which was my last task, with only 4 unsired. My slayer level is 94, and try to level up by killing bossess instead of the normal tasks. My account got banned and tried to contact Jagex through different ways, appeal, twitter, mail. Till this day, still no luck and no responses. So I decided to create this topic on Reddit, as the mods are also very active on this platform in hope to get some answers regarding this ban...

    goldfarming RWT as for as I know, is producing gold by killing bossess over and over and then sell/trade the GP to others... I know that I didn't do something like that..I might have high KC on some bossess, but that cannot be the reason of the ban, as alot more people got higher KC's then I have.

    I don't know how to proof that I'm not guilty, but I want some answers, in the appeal menu it says that Jagex cannot show evidence, well atleast talk/respond to my questions...

    I'm sure that my account is falsely banned, and that I never did any kind of goldfarming/RWT. My KC's are coming mostly from slayer and when comparing to others not the highest. I also never had big trades in terms of lots of gp traded to someone or bought items that were worth millions of gp.

    So I want to ask Jagex why my account is banned and if they can re-check their evidence as I am sure that I didn't commit any RWT kind of stuff.
