    You can ask anything about Old School RuneScape here. They are designated for you to ask anything you like that is relevant to the game or this subreddit.     I can't have been the only one who was expecting some actual quest dialogue, and maybe some spy action, akin to looking through the theatre's windows during 'A Taste of Hope' to learn the boss mechanics through seeing a team of NPC's fighting them?

    Just feels like a miniquest at best right now, and that's a push.

    Jagex, please move A Night at the Theatre to the miniquest catagory

    There is no story content to it. I dont enjoy losing my quest cape for a quest without any story implications or world building. It is a miniquest at best, maybe even a diary task like CoX. Please move it from the main quest section.

    TOB Story Mode is much easier than you think, and requires way less gear than you think, stop the misinformation.

    Everywhere I go I see "200m requirement quest cape thanks jamflex" but I'm here to tell you that it's extreme misinformation.

    As someone very inexperienced with ToB I can solo story mode with a very scuffed setup of

    • barrows gloves

    • slayer helm

    • ardycape/firecape

    • msbi + rune arrows

    • dragon dagger p++

    • ice burst (not barrage, burst, LOL)

    • super combat

    • sharks

    • 70 attack 80 strength 80 ranged 75 magic 80 hp 70 pray

    The bosses do significantly reduced damage, the nylocas have 2 or 3 hp and spawn significantly slower, you can tank soteseg ball as it only does 15 damage while praying mage, bosses have 20% of the HP (they die really fast).

    Here's the kicker though: You get 10 medkits after beating bosses 2 and 4 for a total of 20. What do the medkits do? Oh, only a stamina, super restore, supercombat, ranged, mage potion all at once, and heals 20 hp (no overheal).

    If you were able to get a quest cape before, you did Dragon Slayer 2, Sins of the Father, and Song of the Elves. These are arguably harder than solo story mode theater.

    So please, stop freaking out.

    I am a traveling electrician and dont't get to play much so my ironman is pretty nooby but I just got my first barrows item, DH chest, and wanted to share it with someone as none of my coworkers play unfortunately and I'm away from family in a hotel room, so I thought O'd celebrate with you all!

    Going up to the stranger and immediately receiving 2 lamps was not what I had in mind when I thought of questing and a story mode tob. I know I can just do a story mode wheneve, but that's definitely not what I had expected from a quest. Has the quality of the work the team puts out dropped?

    PSA: A Night at the Theatre autocompletes if you have at least 1 TOB kc, regardless of mode.

    Just talk to the Mysterious Stranger with at least 1 kc in any TOB mode and he will give you two lamps that give 20k exp in your choice of Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Ranged, or Magic.
