    365 days of OSRS' lore, day 3: The second age of Gielinor and the Zarosian empire.

    The second age was the age in which many gods arrived on Gielinor and conquered its lands in the absence of Guthix, whose retirement deep underground marks the approximate end of the first age.

    This is an age full of new gods, many of which we may never rediscover as many of them died in the following god wars in the third age, but of the many gods two in particular rose to far greater power than the rest, those gods were Zaros and Saradomin.

    Saradomin, who first landed on Entrana, and introduced into gielinor centaurs and icyene, would go on to create Hallowvale, a kingdom ruled by icyene and humans loyal to him, Hallowvale was once a rich and fertile land, but that land is what we know now as Morytania, the great capital of Hallowvale would go on to be conquered and razen to the ground by vampires in the third age, who would go on and build Darkmeyer and Meiyerditch over its ruins.

    But Hallowvale in its greatness would pale in comparison to the great Zarosian empire, whose might is still to be rivaled in the fifth age, it span from the northernmost of the lush green lands of Forinthry, now known as the razen lands of the Wilderness, all the way down to a portion of the exotic kharidian forests, who would be later turned into a desert wasteland by the menaphite gods near the end of the second age during the zarosian-menaphite conflicts.

    But both this empire and the entire age would later be brought to and end by Zaros' right hand man and general, Zamorak, a mahjarrat (a race of powerful humanoid creatures) from the homeworld of Freneskae, home planet of Zaros and Seren as well, Zamorak would go on and murder Zaros via the staff of Armadyl, a most powerful weapon, this murder made Zamorak ascend into godhood, it is what made the Zarosian empire fall, what ended the second age, and what started the God Wars.

    I love this game's lore, and I wish more than only a tiny fraction of the community knew about these stories, so I'll be posting once a day a lore bit to promote interest into this game's rich lore.

    I will be using lore from RS3 only when I deem it clear enough that the lore between the two is shared, as quests like SOTE, DSII and SOTF have shown that most of it has mainly stayed the same, if not for some additions.

    Jagex can you update the “sets” at the GE visually so they are easier to see?

    I am too lazy to post a detailed post here but does anyone else know wat I'm talking about? Basically when I try to turn individual items into a set (like rune gear into a rune set), I talk to the clerk at the GE to do this, but the problem is , it's incredibly hard to find the right set to click on from the menu because it's all dark and not easy to see. Can Jagex just like make the one that you have available super obvious or something? Sorry for poor writing

    2k Total 2b+ bank account gone - Please help

    Hello I'm the small time streamer GergeOSRS I mostly do PVP and HCIM content alongside giveaways every 30 mins to an hour or so. Today my main account "ImGerge" was wrongfully banned for being a goldfarmer, I have never sold gold on my account and believe I got banned due to the giveaways I run on stream. Since i'm relatively small of a streamer I've had no response yet and would really like this looked into, I'm fucking devastated that everything I've worked for is gone and I've literally never RWT'ed I would never risk my career (streaming) and my main account as this is what I use to do most of my content on!
