    As a new player, I have been pleasantly surprised by the OSRS community

    Hey guys,

    I recently startes OSRS about 4 days ago, its my first time playing runescape or any major MMO for that matter, coming from games like league of legends and overwatch where the general community is super toxic I have been pleasantly surprised by the OSRS community.

    I was at the GE and asked for advice on what boots I should buy, someone gave me their boots and some gold for absolutely nothing.

    Another player just randomly gave me stacks of logs to train firestarting.

    It's refreshing to know that there are some real good people out there 😀

    Jagex should add RuneLite as an optional download on Steam. How else can they advertise the game on there using RLHD graphics?

    Having the RLHD graphics on the Steam store page would obviously be very good. But they can't really use that footage if you can't play with those graphics using the steam version.

    Adding an optional download for RuneLite would also mean more people would play OSRS using steam making the steam charts more accurately display the number of people actually playing the game.

    Jagex should stop fighting it and just embrace it. It's a win-win for everyone involved.

    PSA to anyone downloading runelite before the HD release!

    In the past runelite has been targeted for fake links when you type it into Google. Example: runeIite using a capital i instead of a lowercase L. I know there are more examples... that's just the first one that came to mind Just pay close attention to which one you download. I feel like this release would be a good chance for these phishing sites to get people. I'm sure some folks in the comments can help with what's real and fake, I just wanted to get the word out there.

    i figured out while doing slayer that if you stand in this square in the stronghold slayer caves, the hellhounds will always automatically move to a double hit cannon spot. happy scaping! :)
