Ask anything about Old School RuneScape here! They are designated for you to ask anything you like that is relevant to the game or this subreddit. Remain respectful to your fellow 'scapers when answering questions; there are stupid questions, but it does not mean you should not be respectful whilst answering them.

Falador needs a new higher tier quest.

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 03:23 AM PST

Look, the Squire has just been chilling in Falador castle grounds for like... well a long time. He should do stuff, or potentially have a quest related to him.

After my 15th death to Galvek, I had an idea for a huge QoL improvement. We should be able to have the Squire go and get our belongings after a death at a boss battle. He could have a coffer to make respawning at Falador castle a LOT quicker for repeat attempts.

A quest that continues the White Knight saga, and could potentially add new "elite" white armor would be awesome. There is only 3 relatively low level quests surrounding the whole castle, and with the other Master/GM quests being added I think it'd fit.

I know that the White Knights are featured in many other quests, but something expanding on the area. As a member, Falador is little more to me than where I spawn.

According to OSRS Wiki, there's an enchantment on the castle keeping demons out, and since all the other magical enchantments across the land are going wrong... well... how long till that enchantment fails?

Or how about Malignius Mortifer has another potion accident and makes another Giant creature (or several). Since Imps are commonly found in the area, a Giant Imp would be kinda fun. [According to the Wiki, this is how the Giant Mole was created]

I dunno fellas, what do you all think?

Sorry this isn't yellow text/black background.

The reason why I don't fight back in the Wilderness is because of how easy it is to get skull-tricked

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 05:19 AM PST

If I do Wilderness bosses or whatever in the Wilderness, my player attack options are hidden. They're pretty much hidden all the time. One time, a long time ago, I forgot to turn them off and lost 12 mill because I got skull tricked.

I'd love to fight back sometimes. When I'm at Callisto I could be a decent opponent to a single PKer because I'm in full verac's, but I don't attack because of how easy it is to get skull-tricked. If someone attacks me, I should be in no danger whatsoever to be skulled. But a single misclick is all it takes to see that skull appear above your head.

PvMers are prey in the Wilderness for PKers, but these stupid tricks actually make it so that we don't fight back.

    [Theory] Shura Controls the Nightmare

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 07:14 AM PST

Shura, is the siren that you pay 60K every time you suck at the new boss. Sirens are known for luring unsuspecting victims to their peril. The nightmare is that peril. She isn't here to help us fight the boss, shes controlling the boss. WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

    What I remember OSRS being

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 02:08 AM PST

I recently came back to playing after a LONG spell. I was happily grinding away and had someone pop up following me making idle chat (later realising they were max), after a quick minute they asked me to hold where I was as they had something for me. They popped back handed me 500k and asked me to let them know once I got my goal we were talking about.

I'm only a lv 68 and having a fully maxed player helping out others is how I remember OSRS being when I first started playing. So happy to see that old habits die hard.

    Thanks Zeall, true OG.

DAE feel the need to click on everything?

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 04:02 AM PST

I will just about always right click/right click & examine things throughout my travels. Whether it's a rabbit, a peculiar shrub, or another player that may or may not be wearing something interesting. It's basically a compulsion and I've been doing this since original 2007 scape. Anybody else do this?
