    I recently discovered that there are barbarian fly fishing spots at Mount Quidamortem, meaning they're close to a bank. The fish are worthless of course, but it's still useful to me because I afk fishing while I work or play other games. The bank allows you to empty your inventory in a much more afk way. The bank trip takes ~25 seconds instead of the ~8 seconds it takes to drop all the fish, but you only spend about 1 of the 25 banking seconds away from your work, whereas you spend all 8 of the dropping seconds away from work. Hope this helps someone :)

    tl;dr fish at Mount Quidamortem for more afk and slightly less xp/hr (and a bit of gp I guess) by utilising the bank

    I love the sub, so many interesting, wholesome and hilarious posts. I enjoyed some of your posts so much that nostalgia led me back to the game I haven't played in almost 15 years.

    I created a new ironman account and I've been enjoying it, it reminds me of the game before the grand exchange, when trading for quest items, low level equipment etc. was more difficult than getting the items yourself.

    I've loved selling stuff to the general store and buying stuff from shops, buying a mithril pickaxe from the dwarven mines, wearing armour I've smithed myself.

    The only negative compared to the old game is the lack of community. No one talks, it's almost as if everyone I come across is a bot. People splashing rats for pitiful magic exp. Where's the fun in skilling these days without the camaraderie?

    Maybe it's because I'm in F2P. Is there more of a friendly community in P2P, or is that old sense of community dead?

    Starting to feel lonely in Lumbridge.
