Right now the rewards simply get thrown into your inventory and you get a cluttered chat box message telling you your reward. After a few runs you barely notice what rewards you actually got.

Besides the above, there's something fun about opening a chest and seeing a rare item pop up after several regular drops. Just like receiving a rare item from a clue, you instantly get excited as soon as you see the item pop up.

Honestly I can't quite believe it still. Going through the aids of teleporting 10x per task and clearing worlds so I can do 2.6k Venenatis KC without being interrupted by a venezuelan goldfarmer.

From what I believe 21 dragon pickaxes was the most ever obtained on a HCIM, even surpassing the rank 1 Venenatis killer, which is to me an achievement I was going for aswell. Furthermore getting 3 dagon'hai pieces was a side achievement besides getting the spider pet, I managed to snag 2 bottoms which demotivated me hard, but I kept going. Yesterday night before the Abberant spectre task I hit the 200 chests opened. I like to believe I was the first to achieve this aswell.

Only to die falling asleep while slaying abberant spectres, attempting to get more spider tasks. It was a good first HCIM run, hopefully I can do the same again on a new account.

If you wish to see some of my captured achievements in the Wilderness, the imgur album should contain them. or not, idk reddit images suck.

Brettvenkilr, ill be coming for your rank and will claim that second HCIM Venenatis pet one day!
