Hi gamers,

Some of you may have seen on Twitter that it's time for me to take the next step in my career, meaning I'll be leaving Jagex at the end of this week.

A huge thank-you goes to Jagex for giving me the chance to work on a game I've loved for many years. The Old School team have been a pleasure to work with. Every single one of them loves the game and community, and I know they'll continue delivering amazing content. Knowing some of the things coming up this year, I'm excited for the future of Old School as a player.

Another thank-you goes out to all of you for your passion, ideas, feedback and memes. I'm incredibly grateful to have shared all these things with you and the dev team.

I'll still be around lurking the 07 sub and commenting from time to time on the drama calendar. I'll also give updates on the next steps of my adventure on Twitter.

Can you or the GE please start washing armor and robes before I buy them?

I'm tired of taking my order out of the GE and immediately having to wash someone else's sweaty desert robes, thank you. Or, sometimes the previous owner put sharks or half-eaten pies in their pockets. When that shit sits in the GE for days at median price, it rots, man. More and more I've even started finding empty vials of orange liquid meth. It's equally disgusting and disheartening.

And to all ironpeople out there, don't get all high and mighty. We all know you've been wearing the same robe bottoms for the past two months, and all you do is hit it with a hammer every few days and call it good. Wash it already. The Edgeville well is one teleport away. Last week I was hanging with Konar and chatting about how I got dragon thrownaxes from Wyrms, and I caught a whiff one of you guys afking at the bottom of the mountain. I need to start bringing my nosepeg when I go to Wintertodt, for Guthix's sake. It's worth the exp loss.

So next time you're about to sell your holiest monk's robes on the Grand Ex-mange, at least do me the courtesy of running it through the Lum. Or maybe Tegid will do it for you if you ask nicely. Just stop making me pull your sweaty sandals and mitres out of the exchange like I'm rummaging through a compost bin with a spade out and my slayer helm on. I look like I'm doing a clue in the GE, and frankly, it's embarassing.
