    like in rs2 or rs3 your max hit is like orange or something and looks bigger and nicer and i was wondering if this could be polled.

    There is NO way to make DMM fair for everyone and that's absolutely fine. The gamemode is designed to be as competitive as it can be and it will forever rule out casuals.

    I see this over and over again "how to fix dmm" or "why dmm is failing". Its purpose is to give content to sweatty pvpers and clans to work together for big moneys. Here's why all these "fixes" that I've seen in past 24h won't work.

    Ban trading. Pvp deaths exist

    Ban trading for x amount of time. Feeding exists after

    Only allow trading via GE. Anyone can sell an obscure item like mithril javelin p+ to acquire gp

    Make everyone ironman. Scouting or boosting for raids, carrying through tob or protecting in pvp still rules out casuals. Having someone scout a fast raid rotation for you beforehand saves like 50% of overall time to grind the content.

    Ban pvp? Dmm IS pvp. Without pvp it's just leagues. Add prize money to leagues? Sure. Maybe add the same structure for top 1024 league point ranks and pit them against eachother.

    Limit playtime. Literally impossible to implement. Vm's, vpns and alts exist. Would achieve nothing.

    Limit server uptime. Fucks over other timezone players.

    Conclusion -> DMM is the only gamemode that encourages working in a group and actually playing this mmo as a multiplayer game. The biggest reason why people hate it is because people hate multiplayer. It's a good thing to have around and people who enjoy it deserve to have something they enjoy. The winner will be some 1013 type fella who would screw you up in a fight anyway regardless of your gear. People beat around the bush a lot that it's not fair if streamers get that if clans get this, but in the end even with bis everything the average players has 0.00% chance of making it to the money ranks. If you're good enough to get that far in the tournament you're good enough to find a group that works with you to reach that goal. Clans feed their best player, not their most famous player. If you want a chance at winning you need to be the best and surround yourself with people who acknowledge that.

    There is no way to make this tournament absolutely fair for everyone. There's no participation prizes. Having some sweatty content for couple weeks of the year is fine. You're not forced to take part. You don't have a realistic chance to win. Play leagues when leagues is out. Meanwhile do we the fuck you want in the maingame.

    Popular Opinion: There is no reason to play DMM unless you have loads of money, Alts, are a pubic figure, or a combination of these.

    This DMM is more about how much money you can funnel from your main account, alt accounts, and viewers/clanmates, than it is about PvP. If you don't have these ways to stack up your DMM account then too bad. You can hide while building your account and avoid PvP with stacked accounts but this ruins the whole point of this being a "PvP tournament". If you decide not to hide you will most likely run into a stacked account and and die. Plus every time you die you lose some items and if you die 3 times you lose combat exp putting you even further behind. Plus the people who have the money, Alts, and followers are most likely also the ones that have the time to spend building their account making the gap even wider.

    There is no reason to have DMM open to everyone. The game mode would have been the same if they they just had limit player slots and gave a place in the tournament to the highest bidders. It feels like normal players are only allowed in the tournament to act as little fish that feed the big sharks.

    *When I say "hide" I mean train in a place that is not the best exp or drops but is super obscure so nobody would go there to PK you.

    Anyone that finds the good worlds should just post it. I stumbled into this one first try. Would be nice for mods to make a stickied thread each week where anyone can post the good one. I'm sure with the entire subreddit every week someone finds the good worlds first try.
