    total noob wants to join runescape; should i go for it?

    i've never played runescape but have always been interested, but i'm a bit intimidated to start my journey. i'm not really much of a gamer, i mostly play on my switch. the only mmorpg i've played has been wizard101 and i have very fond memories of it. every summer i get myself a one month membership and play for a bit, but this summer i'm just not feeling it. still, i would like to play an online multiplayer this summer, just to keep that tradition alive, and i've always had runescape in my radar, but i've never really taken the plunge as it sort of intimidates me.

    i guess what i'm trying to say is that i'm trying to not be a big shy baby about playing old school runescape. but i guess the reason why i'm so hesitant is because i'm not sure if it'll be the right fit for me.

    if any of these points sound like i'd enjoy playing runescape, please let me know.

    - i really enjoy high fantasy media, currently reading fellowship of the ring and i'm adoring it

    - i love old school games, mainly vintage castlevania and angband

    - i'm mostly a solo-player, but i'm open to joining discord servers to meet other players and quest with them

    - highkey a completionist, but i'm also very casual about stuff. idk, i just really enjoy grinding for items so i can get cool loot, but i'm not feverishly obsessive about it

    - i love puzzle games and figuring out riddles/obstacles

    also i feel like i have to mention this lmao: i'm a total noob. cannot stress this enough. i've never been exposed to an environment where seasoned gamers will eat me for breakfast but i know it'll happen if i ever do get put in a situation like that. i don't think this would deter me from gaming, but yeah idk how aggressive runescape players are, so if you think i wouldn't stand a chance, then do let me know so i can look into another game haha

    tl;dr The Dragonfire Shield has some of the most messed up code of any item in the game. We need your help to get Jagex to recognize this and fix it in a way that impacts the least amount of players, while including and supporting existing players as well.

    After completing Monkey Madness 2, you can search the easternmost crate at the entrance to the crash site cavern and get that monkey you've probably seen people wear on their backs.

    I would like to be able to store it in the menagerie with my hellcat and pet rock please. Ya know, so it doesn't get lonely in my bank.

    My first RuneLite plugin, Slash Swapper, was addded to the plugin hub today! You can type in Clan chat with '/' and Friends chat with '//'

    Now I'm sure you experienced players are probably sick of them, but as someone more or less new to the world of Gielinor (last time I played OSRS I never left Misthalin lol) getting a random drop clue scroll and going off to explore the world to solve it is some of the most fun I'm having in this game lol.

    Why do people offer me gold?

    So I started playing osrs couple of weeks ago, and now almost every day someone tries to give me a 100k gold or so. Why do people do this, just from the kindness of their hearts? Won't accepting the trade somehow lead to me getting banned?
