    I'd like to preface this by saying; Yes, I'm a survivor. I played runescape over 15 years.

    I remember running the mile in middle school and distracting myself from the pain thinking about how much rune ess I needed to mine to afford a rune set.

    I remember trying to make sure no one knew I still played in highschool and then seeing swiftkit on my friends desktop and him inviting me into his clan.

    I remember the painful downfall of rs2 and the rekindling of lost love with oldschool.

    I remember trying to study in college and grind slay levels at the same time.

    I remember afking on mobile at my first job in my career after I got my degree.

    I remember not having a job for 6 months at the start of the pandemic and grinding like no ones business.

    And then, well, quite frankly, I was over it. I got bored and I stopped playing.

    Its been a few months now and I have to say I'm so much more content with life. Not having to worry about farm runs or xp waste. It's such a relief. Watching tv shows or movies and actually completely paying attention. It's been years since I can remember doing that. I've been playing video games that feel like they just came out, but they were released 10 years ago. Great vivid graphics and immersion that I had been missing out on for so long. Im fine with going to bed at a decent hour and not worrying about finishing my slay task first. It's a whole new world and it feels good to be free...but anyways, I just bought a bond.

    Hi. Gambling in this game is pretty huge, there's no doubt about that at all, but I need help.

    I've won a ton of times and I've lost double the amount more. I've lost more than I can count, and I can't stop because of a growing, terrible addiction. It's infesting me a lot, and it sucks. It sucks HARD. But I just can't stop for some reason, and I hate that I can't stop

    Maybe it's the thought of winning big one day? I have no idea, but I've lost so much shit, shit I can't really recover from, or at least I think I can't recover from. It's making me lose motivation in the game that I legitimately want to have fun with. It sucks.

    I don't know if this is the right sub to post about something as serious as this, but it's at least a shot. If anyone has any tips or guides to overcoming this, I'd love to read in and apply myself. Thanks for reading this far if you did.

    Any chance Jagex could check out Rune dragons for RWTers/bots? A good portion are alts but every world is consistently full or even oversaturated. No hiscores to attract attention to either.
