Apparently unpopular opinion: its ok not everyone can complete inferno. Posted: 30 Mar 2021 05:35 AM PDT In the equip rebalance thread, comments saying to nerf inferno are getting tons of upvotes, and anyone saying anything against them are being downvoted to hell. I do not think players are entitled/deserve to have inferno capes like they can anything buyable. While some people would not have gotten their's on any specific attempt with nerfed blowpipe, the type of player to grind it and go far in the inferno will end up beating it most likely. Its a bad look for a ton of people who likely dont have capes to be crying about removing/invalidating pre bp capes too. I just witnessed the dumbest scam... and it actually worked. Posted: 30 Mar 2021 12:01 AM PDT TP'd back to GE after a farm run to deposit my stuff before logging off for the night, a couple dragon longswords pop up beneath me and I pick them up, after that a ton of ~60k items start popping up on the ground, creating a trail to the tunnel shortcut at the top left of the GE, obviously it didn't stop there and whoever was behind it made a huge line of drops extending into the wilderness. Lo and behold, like 20 people jump the wilderness line without any hesitation to loot the items and several people get killed, had at least two people come back saying they lost their cash stack. Posted: 30 Mar 2021 07:55 AM PDT Took quite a while, and I never really planned on tracking the loot, but I did end up getting a bit carried away.. ​ https://preview.redd.it/84ih2e3ui6q61.png?width=242&format=png&auto=webp&s=f279afccfee23f8706a757fe6e0d61327599ea02 All the Rubies didn't get tracked as they went straight into my Gem bag, and whilst i never knew just how many i had in the bank before hand, i did end up receiving at least around 3.5k of them, and thankfully i was spot on with the drop rate for the Blood shard! So GP wise, being conservative and doing some rounding down, with 99 thieving it all worked out to be just over 2m per hour.. and as i didn't keep track entirely for the supplies etc, that GP is only taking into account the current price of the Blood shard on the GE, so i excluded the actual GP, Runes, and the Gems that you also receive, meaning that you can expect the actual GP/h to be slightly higher. ​ With 99 Thieving, it was pretty easy for me to average 240k xp/h (roughly 780 pickpockets), trapping her on her spawn point, making it about 40 minutes of just clicking the same spot pretty much before needing to bank. I would use the Desert amulet 4 to teleport out and restore my HP and Prayer, then use a shard to teleport back to the Hallowed Sepulchre to re-supply and then run back, as i found this to be the quickest method by far. ​ Overall as a way to obtain Blood shards compared to killing Vyrewatch Sentinels, presuming you actually get the drop on the drop rate of course.. then with 99 Thieving you should be seeing one (well two) roughly around every 6 1/2 hrs, and despite being rather click intensive, i found it to be pretty chill once its all set up. You can just lock your camera, create a screen marker, set up your hotkeys, turn on single mouse button and away you go!
