    [Opinion] If I voted that I think Powercreep is an issue, I definitely didn't consider Black D'hide, which has been in the game since 2004, as something that needs to be nerfed.

    To be honest this will change how you play the game, especially for ironmen. Imagine grinding out zulrah to get the tanz fang (me rn) so you can finally do some serious bossing and BAM, the blowpipe is seriously nerfed. I think this change is 6 years too late and i dont think i'll be playing anymore if it happens as is. Power creep is alwasy going to be a thing, punishing most players who havent reached the endgame yet isnt the solution imo, also not polling it is wrong

    BP nerf at the inferno is just straight up unfair to new players attempting to get the inferno cape.

    With the proposed changes, BP will be around 10-20% less DPS with dragon darts than before. This is not a "slight" decrease of DPS. This is pretty big. People are already debating whether a rapier would have 1 or 2 max hits over a tentacle whip. This created a big discussion before and is only about a 1.5-2% DPS increase.

    If the BP nerf will actually come through, this will mean that players who are going to attempt getting the cape got a harder challenge than players who got it before the nerf.

    The prayer bonus on the Tbow will also be gone. Both of these changes make it so that the inferno is harder to the player.

    So if you're going to go through with the proposed changes, it is only fair to remove every single inferno cape ingame since it is a whole new piece of content right now with rebalanced gear. While at this topic, this would also create a new possiblity to monitor the legitimacy of people who got their capes. So many capes are bought still. Mains get their capes first try in void with little to no PVM experience currently. This is another problem on its own.

    You can assume that players going for serious runs have done it with rune/dragon darts. Having players to do the inferno with nerfed gear is just a straight new experience.

    The other possibility is keeping BP + dragon darts + Tbow how they currently are. Just nerf other tiers of BP+darts instead. If dragon darts with the BP keep the current DPS, nothing has to change regarding the inferno, because if dragon darts stay the same, this will have no disadvantage for players in the future.

    Considering the entire point of polled changes and rebalances, the fact that we're now at a point of heavily impactful updates being considered without player input is extremely worrying; this could start to create a decaying and detrimental slope towards this becoming a more and more common occurrence for game updates.
