    Jagex & Reddit Mods, can we please PIN a thread to the top of the Subreddit letting users know to download Runelite from .net and NOT .com?

    Jagex always says they want to improve account security.

    One simple post letting people know to download Runelite from .net and NOT .com could be a game changer for new players or even existing players.

    Can we finally address the massive amount of gold farming accounts holding top places in every single bossing highscore placement in 2021?

    As the title says. It's getting worse and worse by the day. At this point, over 75% of every single top 100 highscore placement is filled with a gold farming account. Some exceptions are Zuk and Abyssal sire, since these are not profitable or hard to access by gold farmers. Another exception is Zalcano, but this exception is for the worse. Literally 95% of any given placement in the top 1000 is an obvious gold farming account with bare minimum SOTE requirements with thousands of KC.

    Last month some permanent bans have been handed out to mostly Zulrah, Vorkath and Barrows accounts. Props to the Anti-cheating team for that. But true end-game bosses remained untouched.

    Let's take a look at the true end-game bosses that give the most profit/hour. TOB/COX/NM are being farming to shambles by obvious gold farming accounts. Most of these accounts have around 1800 total level, which means they have access to Elite void, and the Ava's Assembler.

    If we hop around Nightmare, there are so many spanish/arabic speaking teams holding worlds at this boss at any given time. Getting a free world is near impossible sometimes because it is camped 24/7 by gold farmers, mostly from Egypt or Venezuela.

    If we go to the free for all world for TOB, W416, There are 50-200 Venezuelans looking for teams, depending on the time of day. Accounts with hundreds of KC with normal furies, elite void and dragon boots run rampant 24/7. A lot even have infernal capes. Seeing how these people perform in Raids, it's impossible that those guys got them legitimate. Since all they do is complain about lag, yet they managed to get an infernal cape. This is suspicious to say the least.

    The same occurs for COX. In the 2 mains FFA friends chat's the main language that is used is arabic. These accounts are mostly from Egypt. When one of these accounts get a unique drop, they "skip one" raid. During this skip, the item get's sold to the black market, along with any other gear the account had. These accounts have always the same gear, Elite void, with other rag gear. There is hundreds of these accounts farming COX for 16+ hours every day. Always in the same rag gear, void, tent whip, blowpipe and a trident.

    For COX, since it has been in the game for the longest time, out of COX/TOB/NM, it's gotten to a point where 105 out of the current top 150, are 3rd world gold farming accounts. Most of them speaking arabic, always atttending raids in the same FFA clans, in the same lowest possible gear there is.

    At this point, competing for bossing highscores is nearly impossible, since gold farming accounts are present at every single boss. It's really demotivating that accounts with thousands and thousands of KC are not getting caught for RWT'ing. Nothing has been done about these issues for years, despite promises from the anti-cheating team to deal with this ongoing issue in the past.

    Ever since this tweet by the anti-cheating specialists from Jagex, not a single one of the current top 150 COX/TOB accounts have been banned.

    Even after tweets and emails to the tipoff adress, containing a list of nearly 90 out of the current top 150 COX highscores, being a gold farming account, nothing has been done. I get that the main focus is banning bots, but gold farmers are basically doing the same to end-game items that bots are doing to resources. Pumping loads of items in the game to RWT.

    Can something be done about this ongoing issue in 2021? At least make sure the top, let's say 250 are legitimate players.

    PSA: For Blood/Soul Runecrafters, it's faster & easier on your wrist to double click chisel then double click essence than it is to click chisel - click essence back and forth

    I've done this for ages now but I've noticed when watching multiple OSRS videos (Mammal, Settled, etc) that when they're doing bloods/souls they

    click chisel - move mouse - click essence block - move mouse - click chisel

    which is more effort than

    click chisel ONCE then move mouse - double click essence block - move mouse - double click chisel as long as the chisel/essence block are located at #27 and #28 spot in your inventory.

    Applies for things like Feathers + Dart Tips too.

    Decided to write this PSA so some of you can save some wrist strain in 2021.
