I made a RuneLite plugin so I could stop forgetting to bring my rock hammer
3d printed some rune keychains. Really like how blood one turned out. Also the painted parts are filled with epoxy resin so the paint wont tear off.
New to the game and still trying to figure things out, but this is my highest accomplishment so far!
1000 kc at Zulrah on mobile. Can’t complain :)

The current amulet of the damned design is unusual for most items in the game, in that any non-safe death will cause it to be instantly destroyed. This means to make use of any amulet of the damned set effects, the player must have dozens of back-up amulets banked in the event of death. Given that none of the amulet of the damned set effects are best-in-slot for any purpose in the game, this seems unusually punishing and inconsistent with the on-death behavior of most other items in the game.

Simply changing the death mechanics of the amulet could be unfair, as the existing drop rate of the amulet is extremely common (close to 1/15). Making the drop rate rarer would be bad in the case of players who have already banked dozens of these amulets.

I propose adding a rare (~1/250) scroll drop from silver Shades of Mort'on chests which allows you to imbue an amulet of the damned.

Amulet of the damned (i)

Same stats and effects as the regular amulet
No longer destroyed on death
When it naturally fully degrades, instead of crumbling, it becomes Amulet of the damned (inert)
An inert amulet of the damned (i) can be fully recharged by using an amulet of the damned (full) on it.

As the amulet of the damned has stats identical to an amulet of glory, it's possible this could add an alternate progression track for iron men looking for an amulet with these stats. However, amulets of the damned do not have the teleport powers of amulets of glory & degrade, so iron accounts will still eventually want to grind crafting for the amulet of glory, too.
