    Free-to-Play CASTLE WARS Event | Aug. 8 @ 6 pm EST/11 pm GMT

    For those who remember, we used to host regular events for the subreddit. We are hoping to revive that tradition and starting hosting events monthly! So why not start with a classic? New and old players are invited to join us at Castle Wars (no membership required!) in just over a week!! Saturday, August 8th.

    If you have been around long enough to be affiliated with one of our in-game clan chats, you can orient your position as follows:

    • '2007_reddit' clan chat: Zamorak Portal
    • 'reddit_07' clan chat: Saradomin Portal
    • I have never visited these clan chats and don't care to: Guthix portal (or whichever portal your prefer)

    Join either the '2007 Reddit' clan chat for Zamorak or the '07 Reddit' clan chat for Saradomin, and bash it out in this classic Runescape minigame for the glory.. or just for the nostalgia. All levels are welcome and nooby gear is encouraged - bonus points if you're rocking bronze armor! This should be a fun event to make new friends, reunite with old ones and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of OSRS at it's best. Hope to see you there! Keep an eye out for Livestream links!

    So after taking a lengthy break of of OSRS, I decided to have a look at my max acc in a f2p world like I do every now and then. Password didn't work. Instant panic. Check account page and sure enough, the recovery e-mail has been changed. IGN had been changed to "is a is a". (which is a terrible name, by the way)

    I managed to restore my account quite quickly, and tried to log in, prepared to feel sad at an empty bank. No such luck. The account has been perma banned for RWT.

    Now here's the thing with RWT bans. Jagex does NOT handle appeals for them (unless you're a popular streamer of course). I've been trying to appeal the ban for weeks because I know for a fact I didn't do it and if Jagex has any competence at all they will be able to find that out. The problem is I simply cannot get a human to look at the situation. I imagine the hacker blatantly traded the GP off to a throwaway account, triggering an automated ban system, and now Jagex refuses to look into the situation. If I appeal through their support page I get an automated reply saying they don't handle RWT appeals.

    Just a reminder to y'all that it can happen to anybody. I never did anything shady in game or outside. All I did was grind peacefully like most love to do in this game. Jagex Customer Support is a joke and if you happen to end up at the wrong side of the automated banning system, you're shit out of luck.

    Make Blurite Crossbow and Bolts F2p

    The blurite crossbow is a crossbow stronger than the bronze crossbow but weaker than the iron crossbow.

    Blurite Stats:
    Range attack bonus +30
    Bolts range strength bonus +28

    Maple Short Bow Stats:
    Range attack bonus +29
    Adamant Arrows +31

    Pros:

    Will create BiS 1H Range weapon in F2p
    Create variety for F2p Pking and PVM
    Enchanted Blurite Bolts will still be P2p, creating an incentive to upgrade membership

    turn it into 1-4 person gamemode and fight off waves of undead guys and u can buy weapons off the wall or from mystery box with points. enemies level and health increase every wave. get perks like perm overload pot until u die and never drain run energy or increase ur max health by 50 or somethin. and have powerups like infitinte spec for 1 min and health restored to max. then have some of the rewards be a melee wep and range wep that increase max hit against undead like salve ammy and crumble undead. also add another sack backpack thing like rag and bone man they look cool. ill make art for it
