    Since Boss Slayer has been shelved, I wanted to speak up as a vocal critic of it to thank Mod Arcane for the idea. It can't be easy to get something as complex as long-term game balance right on the first try for a game you're not yet fully immersed in, and I hope they don't feel discouraged to pursue other new content updates.

    I was among the spicy meme posters criticizing this update, and I hope Mod Arcane knows that, from all but a vocal minority of the community, game criticism is not meant personally, and we appreciate you for your humility in being willing to put protecting the future of the game above your desire to see your update become reality.

    Why not make skilling more relevant by removing insane resources loots from PvM?

    It makes skilling barely relevant, at least anything below ~85 in that skilling level.

    Things like Runecrafting rendered useless with those multiple thousands of runes being dropped by Vorkath, Bloodvelds, etc. The magic logs, bars, ores, etc.

    One of the most attractive features of OSRS and what made it different from so many other MMORPG's was how diversified your experience could be. So many skills, so many locations, etc. All of that has been rendered pretty much useless.

    I don't know, maybe I'm talking out of my ass, but that's what I feel.

    Instead of boss slayer master, the slayer partner system should be reworked and put back into the game. This game needs more ways to play with friends without being a max main.

    The game currently does not appeal to newer players and currently does not have many ways to play with friends. Most content in the game is done solo and most group content is reserved for insanely high level characters like raids.

    Partner slayer would allow players of different combat levels to play together and cooperatively accomplish a task, rather than slaying alone, which is the way most activities in this MMO are played; alone.
