To celebrate /r/2007scape hitting 500,000 subscribers and with the help of our fantastic J-mods we are launching 2007scapes first ever bingo event: the Kings Chronicle!

What is the Kings Chronicle

Basically its a 4x4 bingo board with a fancy name. You and a partner will race other teams of two in order to complete two quests set forth by King Roald.

The first quest is the easier of the two and all it requires you to do is be the first team to complete a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line on the board.

The second quest is to 'blackout' the board by being the first team to obtain every single drop on the Kings Chronicle.

To cut down this post being a few words shy of a novel, we have created a full info graphic with all the needed information, including the board, how to submit your drops and the rewards themselves!

Along with that we have included a shorter version just including the board & board rules and a bingo board template for anyone wanting to make a visual board for their team.

How do i sign up?

To sign up please click here and fill out the Google Form. Signups will close on 1st of July so make sure your application is in before then

What if i don't have a partner?

When you sign up via the google form below you will have the choice to sign up as a team or as an individual. If you sign up as an individual you will be assigned to a random player with a similar timezone.

A list of all teams will be posted up before the event, if you sign up as a solo player you will be given a random team name prior to the post being released

RIP 2259 Total Ironman - Account Locked Forever

I stupidly lost access to my 2259 total ironman last week and thought I'd write my story below to anyone who could be bothered reading it.

I had recently been thinking about upgrading my mobile phone, and was conscious of the fact I would need to switch over Authenticator access for OSRS.

I tried logging onto my email last week to ensure I still had access. Unfortunately, I had found that it was de-activated for 6-months of inactivity..

I thought this wouldn't be a huge issue for my OSRS account, as I still had access to the account, knew all the account information and could even refer them down to the exact day of account creation when I completed my first quest. I assumed I could just message Jagex to update my email address using their standard link for people with this issue. I even took a screenshot before letting them lock my account in the event that ownership ever became a question.

I submitted my appeal, and found that I was consistently being denied, and couldn't understand why. I did some research and found that in appeals, Jagex essentially will only rely on transaction info relating to membership. E.g. you need to provide evidence of the bank account/ paypal that purchased membership to confirm account ownership. Unfortunately for me, 100% of my membership came through bonds of my secondary account and I don't have a single transaction I can send through as concrete evidence to support my appeal.

I was hoping to receive an email address from someone at Jagex Support who I could contact to work through this with; as thanks to RuneLite/OSBuddy, I have a screenshot of every single level/ quest completion of the account and thought there must be something I could do to prove ownership. However, all attempts at contacting Jagex have been fruitless, each time I was simply referred back to the FAQ section on the support website (Which I have been through several times).

I've come to the conclusion after a week now that there is little I can do to recover the account. I'm hoping I can re-make the email address in 12-months to recover the account. Although, I'm unsure if the email domain will even allow it to be re-available. It seems like for me this will just be a lesson learnt at the cost of losing 130+ days of play-time.

If you want to take something away from this post, I would highly recommend if all your membership comes from bonds to purchase a single one yourself, in the event you ever lose access to account, this would allow you to have unequivocal proof the account belongs to yourself.

For anyone wondering, this was my final gear tab.

UPDATE: Account has been recovered! Thank you to all those who upvoted for viability. When I created this post I only expected a few comments calling me an idiot, very thankful to this community!
