    You can ask anything about Old School RuneScape here. They are designated for you to ask anything you like that is relevant to the game or this subreddit.     Quality of life update.. Jagex or Jmods please fix the "Menaphite red outfit" make it actually red, and not "Pink" ... you can totally see the difference, huts my eyes to see this.

    After seeing another post of 2 old runescape friends who reunited... I have now embarked on my own quest. When I was 7-8 years old I had a computer teacher with the username "Mr Delano1" (I'm 99% sure that is the correct username) (Also for context I'm 23 now. He introduced a lot of the guys in the class to Runescape. Every week we had class on Tuesday.. he would give a few of us who stuck to the game 10,000 gp. He used to troll me and throw 9999 in the trade lol... Anyways I vividly remember the first time he gave me 10k... I walked to Varrock and died to the dark wizards. I almost cried LMAO! Anyways, he gave me another 10k and escorted me to Varrock where I bought a mithril daggar... a steel platebody... and I think iron platelegs. But forget about all of that.. I would just love to reconnect with him somehow. This is the information I have. I believe his rsn was "Mr Delano1" We were always impressed by his rank in hiscores I believe he was top 100 overall at the time (this js around 2005-2006). If anyone was friends with him in game or knows if he still plays now (lets be real most people still play) please let me know ! ALSO I was trying to search & I found an account named "UIM Delano" . If anyone is friends with this account.. could you maybe see if it's the same person? I know this is overall very silly but it would mean a lot to me !

    TLDR: 16 years ago my computer teacher introduced me to RS. Would love to talk to him if possible. I think his oldRSN is "Mr Delano1". There's an account called "UIM Delano" that could be him or someone random w/ same name.

    I wouldn't mind Jagex not releasing content for 6-12 months to fix the bot/gold farmer crisis.

    Literally everywhere you go, there's some form of botting or gold farming.

    Gem rocks/runite ore with 99+ mining. Nature rune/abyss with 115 runecrafting.

    Zulrah/Vork/Barrows with 8k+ kc

    Vampyres & vene gold farmers 2-4 per world

    Gargoyles, Skele wyverns, Shamans, gold farmers with 115+ range.

    Like holy shit. I remember playing on my main doing nothing but CoX and not noticing this shit, but since playing as an ironman, there's just bots and gold farmers everywhere.

    For a minute I don't buy the "we're banning them but they keep creating more". No way in hell can you get 115+ runecrafting or 115 range and not get caught/detected mulling bills.

    Jagex's solution for this is by adding total requirements to content (especially F2P), which has barely done anything. Changing content to try and fight the botting/gold farming battle is a sure sign of Jagex losing.

    *EDIT Just want to throw an edit out there that I'm fully aware the graphics team aren't going to solve the botting crisis.
