    Quest Suggestion - Stray No More

    Start: young boy at Varrock church

    reqs: construction, hunter, crafting, herblore

    • boy is hoping and praying that he can get a pet doggo

    • talk to his dad who mentions the distinct lack of pet dogs available while Gertrude has the monopoly on pet market, and suggest something could be done with the Varrock strays

    • talk to the Varrock housing estate about renovating a building as adoption centre. get King Roald's approval by bribing him with chocolate

    • talk to Probita at the pet shop in Ardougne about what you'd need

    • construct the centre: build counter, chairs, pet beds, doghouse , bowls, etc

    • lure the Varrock strays to the building with bones

    • Talk to the apothecary about the fleas, get a second opinion from Auburn in the rune shop.

    • Gather / conveniently have on you the ingredients and meet him at the centre to do a magic spell to kill the fleas (which looks suspiciously like a water strike, drenching the poor doggos)

    • message on the door from Watson, who has heard of your quest to take care of the doggos, to come visit him

    • has been investigating rumours about lost puppies in several locations across Gielinor with the help of his bloodhound - Gruff McScruff

    • craft a magic collar to commune with Gruff at these spots for a 'hot/cold' type trial to narrow down the hiding spot

    • use your hunter skills to track puppy to its' hiding spot and lure it out to you with milk , bones and raw meat

    • rescue the puppies and bring them to the Varrock adoption centre

    • Invite the boy to the grand opening where he is the first person in Gielinor to adopt a dog, his dad is inspired and offers to volunteer at the adoption centre providing the opportunity to adopt puppies.

    • you can now get puppies > doggo's as pets!

    thoughts:

    1️⃣ the puppy locations could be somewhere they've tried to find other creatures of their fur colour: husky - polar kebbits/ wolves labrador/retriever - desert jackals german shepherd - Ardougne guard dogs dalmatian - cow fields

    2️⃣ Maybe?? Can make your doggo a bone crusher collar and charge it with tokens/charges from your bcrusher (that are all lost on death along with doggo + collar) so that your doggo burries bones for you

    3️⃣ link prayer xp to Varrock diary , seems how it is ultimately freeing up an invent slot: 10% xp none , 15% easy , 20% med , 30% hard , 45% elite for xp ,,, or maybe cap a certain amount of each type of bones that can be burried per minute (limiting prayer xp under current bonecrusher/prayer options)
