    Giving Dinh's Bullwark -25 magic defense is insane

    I've seen a lot of people saying that Dinh's shouldn't be nerfed. I've seen people say that Dinh's shouldn't be nerfed. This post is not about whether Dinh's should be nerfed it's about how the proposed stat changes are in insane. Magic defense will be lowered to -25. Along with magic decrease, melee defense is losing 35 defense bonus, and with each style being between 100 and 110 defense bonus.

    -25 magic defense would make Dinh's Bullwark the worst magic defense item in the entire game. An item that is almost used entirely for defense would have the worst in slot magic defense in the game.

    Currently, the item with the worst magic defense is the berserker necklace with -20 defense. It has -20 magic defense because all of it's defense stats are -20 to make it a glass canon item. The item with the second worse magic defense is the justiciar chestguard with -16 magic defense. It also has 132 stab, 130 slash, 117 crush, and 142 ranged defense which is more defense in every attack style than a Dinh's post nerf.

    These are actually really terrible compared to most magic defense bonuses in the game. The worst magic defense bonus for a shield slot item is the avernic defender with -5 magic defense. All kite shields have -1 magic defense and all square shields have 0 magic defense. Every platebody, including Barrows, has -6 magic defense. Torag's platebody has 122 stab, 120 slash, 107 crush, and 132 ranged defense. This is pretty comparable to Dinh's, so why does it make sense that needs to have a magic defense more than 4 times worse than an midgame item?

    Jagex originally said that the Dinh's nerf was to maintain the combat triangle, but that's not mentioned in the new blogpost. I believe this is because there is another defensive shield that violates the combat triangle: the dragonfire shield. Fully charged, it boasts 70 stab, 80 slash, 72 crush, 10 magic, and 72 ranged. It's a very strong tank shield and it has positive magic defense. I was curious about what weapon has the best defenses and the Zamorakian hasta has 13 stab, 13 slash, 12 crushed, 0 magic, and 13 ranged defense. Wielding both of those items brings you pretty close to Dinh's post nerf stats.

    All that being said, -25 magic defense is just ridiculous for a rare item that comes from one of the hardest activities in the game. I'm going to feel bad for people doing CoX when they get a 336k alch instead of ancestral or dragon claws.

    Give the Odium Ward and Buckler Range Strength If You Want To Shift Away From the BP

    This feels obvious to me. Give the only items that don't power up the Tbow and BP actual uses. The defenders have strength, give the Odium Ward and Twisted Buckler +6 and +8 range strength or something. It honestly doesn't make sense that they don't already have it. It just seems like an obvious move that would help Jagex achieve the ranged meta they're looking for.

    Green dragon armor (lvl 40) is literally going to be worse than snakeskin (lvl 30) after this nerf

    Black d'hide body is going from 55/47/60/50/55 to 30/35/35/45/50 def stats after this nerf. For comparison, snakeskin body is 25/28/32/15/35. That means that the black d'hide body is literally only +3 to +7 higher in melee/ranged defensive stats than SNAKESKIN, a lvl 30 item. While that's sinking in, realize that they are nerfing all d'hides, which means that the green d'hide body (currently at 40/32/45/20/40), once nerfed and obviously even lower in stats than the nerfed black d'hide, is going to be WORSE against melee than a lvl 30 ranged armor that literally no one uses. In fact, blue and even red d'hide may end up being equal or lower than SNAKESKIN. What is going on here?
