    Botters are making false privacy claims against my YouTube channel, help!

    Hi everyone, a little over a day ago I put out a video:

    RuneScape's Hosts Are Botting (OSRS)

    In it, I discuss how many of the house hosts on world 330 are botters. Despite never saying the hosts by name I did include video of their houses that on occasion displayed their usernames.

    This morning I woke up to an email from YouTube saying " we have received a privacy complaint from an individual regarding your content" with the timestamp of " 3:14-10:54".

    YouTube's Privacy Guidelines

    "For content to be considered for removal, an individual must be uniquely identifiable by image, voice, full name, government identification number, bank account number, contact information (e.g. home address, email address), or other uniquely identifiable information. We also take public interest, newsworthiness, and consent into account when determining if content should be removed for a privacy violation. YouTube reserves the right to make the final determination of whether a violation of its privacy guidelines has occurred."

    Despite knowing I haven't broken any YouTube rules this worried me. Many false copyright takedowns and privacy violations have succeeded in the past. So I went into YouTube's blur editor and blurred as many usernames and chat messages as I could. Then just a few minutes ago I received a second claim from YouTube for the timestamp of " 3:35-9:21".

    So what does this mean? Well in the next 48 hours YouTube will make a ruling on if the video violates their privacy policy or not. As a precuation I need your help. I'm hoping someone from Jagex or YouTube sees this post. I would love some clarification from Jagex saying that usernames aren't private information. I need as much information to pass off to YouTube that I'm not infringing on this users privacy. Plus if a false ruling is made and the video goes down a Jagex response as a rebuttal would help tremendously.

    Please, help me Reddit.
