Time after time again, the biggest toxicity in this game has spawned from the real world traders at the duel arena.

Time and time again, people have ddosed the game, banged the servers offline, made people lose gp, made people buy GP. Look honestly, at this point, its an absolute joke. There is no sense, nothing you can say or do to tell me that the duel arena is good for the game, good for ANYONE. Sure, people will gamble on websites using dicers ect. Who fucking cares. LET THEM. they can FUCK OFF and you can spend your side time tracking them if you want. But this will remove HUGE amounts of toxicity in the game, specifically SCUMBAG fucking DDOSING pricks and idiots like ODA who do commission staking and go 100b in debt? Lol.

ITs time to get rid of this shit, for the future of the game, for "integrity" a word you have used time and time again.

Everytime something comes up that has nothing to do with stopping the biggest problem in the game its shoved off into something elses lap.

The biggest "Integrity " update you can do for this game, is get rid of the fucking duel arena, Build A REAL arena, for fuck sakes just copy wow, That would be sickening, 2v2 3v3 5v5s with titles and shit like that ? Poll it? I dont know? Just get rid of this, get rid of the ddosing, DELETE the fucking COMMUNITY scum from the game. I would rather have ANYONE than stakers in this game. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE scummiest part of this community and honestly if you get rid of the duel arena, this game will thrive more than it ever has. One of the shittiest parts that have hurt friendships, ruined lives and made china millions of dollars will be gone permanently.

Jagex, Bounty Hunter ruins the integrity of Ironman

I find it a strange decision that Jagex has allowed ironmen access to tradable items in the Bounty Hunter store, and went a step further this week to allow them to buy the resource crates.

I know that there has been a huge push over the years to get people participating in the wilderness whether they like it or not, but this seems to be a bit extreme.

How many other methods are there that can generate over 2m GP per hour starting at level 50 combat? That's how much you can get if you fulfill all three task conditions in hotspots and alch the rewards you buy. You don't have to be a master PKer to achieve this, because success in BH depends entirely on how much resistance your opponents put up. This means it's possible to have another player not resist at all, or even outright sell you a win.

There are several things Ironmen can't do because it supposedly affects the integrity of the mode, such as buy resources from the NMZ store using points they earned by themselves. That would allow them to earn certain resources far faster than any other methods available to them, but could that not be said for BH and the GP it's generating?

I'd quite like to know the reasoning behind this. What guidelines are in place that simultaneously allows for ironmen to earn millions of GP per hour through direct player interaction, but blocks them buying a few hundred compost potions through solo content? It seems arbitrary to me, or something that is at the very least less important than superficially boosting wilderness activity.

Of course, generating ludicrous amounts of GP is a problem for the non-ironman players as well. I'm sure everyone saw on Reddit how many billions people were earning shortly after the update.

Edit: I'm not sure if people know about it, but the method of generating GP would be buying Dragon Battleaxes from the store. Killing targets in hotspots you earn 3 times the usual points, so you'll get 33 per kill if you complete a task at the same time. You get 3 tasks per hour, so that's 99 points. You can buy 16 Dragon Battleaxes with those, alching for a total of 1920k.

tl;dr: The Bounty Hunter reward shop is the fastest GP generator in the game with almost no requirements, and can also easily be boosted using other players. Considering the other limitations in place for ironmen, I think this is silly.

Really Jagex? Showing off a random streamer being lost in a game that they don't know how to play (and don't even want to play) is good advertisement? You really couldn't think of a better use for our 11 bucks? It's not even as if they push the OSRS section higher up Twitch with high viewer counts.
